A glass fibre extension with an M8 end, length 1 m.

These glass fibre extensions are designed to be used in cases when one of the fibres in an existing set is too short. The glass fibre extensions are also suitable if a customer wishes to use one fibre in a plastic fibre set to light e.g. the stove in the sauna.

When extending a fibre, it should be noted that even if the fibres are adapted together in the best possible way, a loss of 50% in luminosity can be expected.
