Cariitti seen in the new season of Kotoisa TV show
The basement of Tapani and Anssi's home underwent a spectacular transformation in the third episode of Kotoisa's sixth season. The episode saw the light of day on Monday 15th of March 2024 on MTV3 and we are proud to say that we were able to be part of the realization of this luxurious ensemble.
Every square metre of the unused basement floor was renovated under the direction of interior designer Seija Strand and contractor Vilja Schepel. Cariitti's sauna and lighting solutions were incorporated into the new look of Anssi and Tapani's harmonious home spa.
Why TAIVE sauna was chosen?
Choosing the right sauna was important to Seija, and she hoped that Tapani and Anssi's new sauna would offer relaxation and grounding as well as a little luxury and spa atmosphere. In the video below, Seija visited our showroom in Espoo to see the TAIVE sauna collection.
Seija believes that Cariitti's TAIVE sauna will be the crown of the new premises.
Facts about TAIVE sauna collection:
- Removable bench and backrest modules for easy maintenance
- Soft benches and benches that accommodate both your back and knees when sitting
- The board frame is made of domestic birch veneer, which ensures very good stress resistance and minimal moisture absorption
- The collection carries the Key Flag symbol and is manufactured in our own carpentry workshop in Espoo, Finland
- All bonding is done with a weather-resistant D4 class adhesive with an M1 emission rating
- A wide and earthy colour range allows a solution for every taste
In the video, Seija also takes a look at the sauna lighting solutions. The Sauna Linear optical pole provides a beautiful indirect lighting that can be installed behind or under the sauna benches and behind the backrests. In the video, the lighting under and behind the sauna benches is achieved with Sauna Linear. The lighting on the ceiling is provided by Sauna Ultra Ambient, which can withstand the high temperatures rising to the sauna ceiling.
How did Anssi and Tapani receive their new premises?
Anssi and Tapani were delighted with their new space. The TAIVE panel on the ceiling, which is identical to the panels in the sauna, is particularly praised. This creates a unified and harmonious atmosphere between the sauna and the bathroom.
The couple also likes the earthy color scheme of the sauna and bathroom. Anssi and Tapani praise the sauna as magnificent and spacious, even though the available space was limited.
