Single Cabin was added to our TAIVE sauna cabin range at the end of 2023. In this blog post, we take a deeper look at the features and uses of the new model.

Designed to fit into a small space, the Single Cabin is a great option for providing everyday luxury in bathrooms where the actual sauna location has not been defined at the design stage. The design was initiated when we identified a need for small saunas, particularly in the United Arab Emirates and Japan.

However, the Single Cabin is also aimed for the Finnish and European market, for any home where there is a need for a compact sauna.

Unlike our other cabins, the Single Cabin comes in a standard size. All our cabins are customizable to the customer’s needs, also in the Single Cabin the other features, except the size of the cabin, are customizable. The Single Cabin fits 1-2 sauna users.

Colour options for Single Cabin

Single Cabin comes in our standard colour Hemlock. However, if you wish, you can tint the surfaces to the colour of your choice afterwards using Supi Sauna Wax.

The ventilation of Single Cabin allows you to enjoy the same kind of steam as in a traditional sauna

In the Single Cabin, as in the other sauna cabins in our TAIVE range, ventilation solutions ensure a pleasant, traditional sauna-like atmosphere. In a well-ventilated sauna, fresh air is introduced from above the heater, mixed more efficiently with the warm air and not trapped at the floor level. This means that the steam is pleasant and there is enough oxygen for a longer sauna session.

In a TAIVE sauna, the exhaust air is discharged by an exhaust fan under the benches near the floor. This ensures that the temperature is higher also on the lower part of the sauna. The speed of the exhaust fan is adjustable. In addition, there is an exhaust air valve on the sauna ceiling, which is kept closed during heating and sauna bathing. It is only opened after the bathing, so that the sauna is ventilated and it dries more quickly.
